My name is Alexa Gallardo, I was born in Rancagua, Chile in jaunary of 2004. I am 18 years and i live in Santiago presently. For my studies, I just share an apartment with my older sister, Zaira. We are three, and i am the middle of them. I miss talk every day with my other sister, Zoé. The rest of the family it is conformed for my two parents, Marcia y Juan Pablo. 







I studied since i was 6 years in the same school, Inés Saint. And then, when a was finished the school, i started to studied sociology in university of Chile. 


In my free time i like reed, actually it's one of my hobbies, then i like hang out with my friend, go to walk with a coffee, and do sports.

Why did you choose this career?

 When i was a child i loved every  animal, i don't care if that it was bigger than me or too scary for other, i just loved. I wanted to be a vet with my life, even when a liked to eat meat ;) , that's not so animalistic of my part, but i admiring the vegan people now. When i was growing  up i discovered how much i like to read,  and social analysis, but my first choice is international studies, actually i want a transfer. Sociology is my second choice because it is so interesting to study, and my family it's happy with my decision. The other career was cinema, just because i liked photographer.  At the university the social circles  is recommendable for first students, the people and professors are so worried about you. Even when that happened i don't have so many friends, maybe i am kinda shy.    If i think how it's going to my future job, i prefer trips and have my own office. Also, know different people and culture it's motivate.

My favorite food- Blog 4

 My favorite food is lentils that my grandmother cook, on the plate they look strange because of the vegetables that accompany them.   She used quinoa rather than rice, in Chile usually it is not like that, but my grandmother works in the kitchen in a school and all her life has cooked for students or family, so she knows about that. Apart from quinoa, she used carrot, chard and maybe  ground meat for the taste. I like the lentils from my grandma since  i am a student, i don't cook all the time, and when i do, it is awful.  I live with my sister and eating lentils remind us of home.  It is a great source of protein and carbohydrates. So many ways exist to make lentils and are a good plate when you want a healthy lifestyle.

 Blog 3  my favorite piece of technology is my laptop because I can do all my own stuff, but not just only writing or college research. The computer is small and has a lightweight design, so it's easier to move around with me, and that's an important point when you're a student.   Listening to podcasts, music, reading texts and editing photos are the things I like to do when I have time, watching movies on Netflix is one of my hobbies. The notebook gives me an extensive list of tasks to complete.  The computer affects my life perhaps when I focus so much on the screen. I get a headache and there are articles that talk about how artificial light can damage my eyesight.  Even though there are all the adverse consequences I recommend using the computer, it is necessary when you want to have all your things on the same piece of technology.
